Recruiters use CrunchProfile to eliminate research work while sourcing! You can easily see at what growth stage a candidate worked at each company on their profile and what the company does. On Github, it can also pull their email from logs if available.
We’ve been working with a lot recruiters recently to automate their sourcing workflow, and we saw a common pain point: countless hours spent sifting through LinkedIn profiles and juggling tabs to piece together a candidate’s career journey. On GitHub, it’s a similar story - clicking through repos to grasp contribution patterns. The savviest recruiters even dig into git logs for email addresses (if available). That gave us an idea to build a simple extension to streamline the process.
Behind the scenes, we’re aggregating data from diverse sources to provide rich, instant company insights. We then use OpenAI's gpt4o to summarize.
Currently, we’re offering this for free, with plans to introduce a usage-based tier (including a generous free option) in the future. We’re eager to hear your thoughts - what features would help improve this?
Big thanks to all the recruiters that have been working with us and sharing their research workflows! We wanted to give y'all a free, simple tool to help you source more easily. Please let us know what you think :)
Congrats on the launch, @sanketchauhan and @pranavbadami! CrunchProfile is a big time-saver for recruiters and gives deeper insights into candidates. But I’m curious—won’t using GPT-4o for summaries, especially for free, rack up a lot of costs? With so many detailed resumes, that could eat up a lot of tokens.
@pranavbadami@govichan We are subsidizing the cost right now! We will have a paid plan in the near future for uses beyond a certain number of profiles each month.
When I try to view the AI summary, it asks me to log in when I actually am already logged in... Is this a bug? I'm really looking forward to using it effectively
