Hey Product Hunters!
To me, the allure of remote working has always been about freedom, flexibility, and living an incredible life supported by work, rather than the other way around.
Unfortunately, many companies attempting to embrace remote work are doing so in a manner that negates these original benefits. This often happens when they try to operate remotely in the same way they did in person. Now, instead of in-person meetings, it's back-to-back Zoom calls; instead of office interruptions, it's constant chat notifications (like Slack). But a few companies that truly "get it" recognize the value of asynchronous, unhurried, and thoughtful communication.
With Considerful, my goal was to revive the genuine essence of remote work. I wanted to create a platform for in-depth, unhurried team discussions where every voice counts and no insights are lost to ephemeral chats, conveyor-belt-like discussions, or hidden threads.
Not only does it serve as a repository for critical company decisions, but it also develops into a knowledge hub for incoming team members.
I've integrated an AI assistant, powered by GPT, that allows users to pose questions related to a specific discussion or across the entirety of their discussion database. For convenience, discussions are automatically summarized, enabling team members to quickly catch up on anything they might've missed.
Several pioneers have led the way in true asynchronous remote work. I'm both grateful and inspired by them. Considerful is my modest contribution towards a more peaceful, focused, and genuinely flexible remote working environment.
I bootstrapped and built this product single-handedly, so I'd truly appreciate all the support I can get from the Product Hunt community! Please help spread the word and do share your feedback.

Very interesting approach! I'm curious to see alternatives to the Slack approach for team communication. I genuinely think it's not always the best support and that seems to be particularly the case for deep conversations like when the team needs to make a design decision or prioritise a roadmap. I'm curious: What are the main use cases you see for Considerful? How do you think a tool like that plays with other collaborative tools like Slack, Basecamp or Figjam?
@zmiro Thank you for your thoughtful comment!
You're spot onโwhile tools like Slack excel at immediate, casual conversations, there's a clear need for platforms that cater to in-depth team dialogues, especially when it comes to pivotal decisions and priorities. I have a great deal of respect for Basecamp's ethos on focused work time; it resonates with the intention behind Considerful.
However, my vision for Considerful was not to create another all-encompassing platform, but to master one crucial aspect: facilitating deep, productive team discussions. This focus allows us to maintain an interface that's intuitive, clutter-free, and designed with the singular purpose of fostering meaningful dialogue. Pairing Considerful with other collaborative tools can, in my opinion, provide teams with a comprehensive suite that caters to all their communication needs.
@briangruber That sounds great thanks Brian! Will give it a go on our next design question for AskMore then. We're a super small team of 2 so probably not your target audience but I'm curious to see how that works in practice. Best of luck!
