I usually offload my coins into my hardware wallet (Ledger Nano S). It would be great to manually enter our off-site holdings as well.

@nyalex this!!!!

@nyalex @kent_henderson as I said to @ernopp, this will be covered by the app in a near future ;-)

Looks great in theory, but how are users suppose to trust this? You have the users exchange API and the records of all assets. Could hackers not somehow Target this data?
willeeh
@tdrewk every exchange are able of generating API Keys with read-only permissions, even some of them could restrict some areas as accounts, wallets, users, transactions and so on. CoinsHub only requires this kind of permissions. On the other hand, we keep this sensitive data on the user's phone. So, CoinsHub is not saving any user api keys. In a near future, we would like to ask for getting down user api keys to our servers in order to give them much powerful insights, but this still a upcoming feature and is not live yet. Hope this clarify your doubt.

@willeeh Coinbase API generation is not very straightforward, can you provide instructions? I know it's early, but you'll want this info listed on the Coinbase exchange input area in the app.

@tdrewk we are working on creating tutorials for every exchange, but we don't have it yet. Just create an API Key (version 2) marking all your wallets (or those you want to track), and about permissions: wallet:accounts:read, wallet:transactions:read and wallet:orders:read. At this moment, the only one permission that is mandatory is wallet:accounts:read, but there's some new features coming that would be the another two permissions.
