Caltra

Trello for humans, not companies

Caltra helps people achieve their personal goals. With Caltra, you can plan out your goals, do work on a kanban board, and reflect with in-app analytics. It's somewhere in between a to-do list and a project management tool that's built just for your goals.

Wish there was a way to login without Google. But, I use Trello for personal goals too. What's something I'll get with Caltra that is not in Trello?

@kyunbit1 @aaron_d Hey Angik and Aaron! Great feedback. Login without Google coming soon! Here are some areas where Caltra is different: 1. Onboarding - Trello throws users into an empty board without column names and without a workflow. Caltra aims to have a hand holding conversation like process for planning out different goals. 2. Repeating tasks - Personal goals have a ton of repetitive work. Caltra is focused around repeating tasks that will generate you a todo list every week. 3. Feel good-ness - Caltra has a bunch of features focused on helping users feel satisfied after completing work, like the analytics, wellness, or weekly report. I write more about this in a blog post! https://medium.com/@j.yu/why-cal...

I'm pretty happy with Trello. The headline is exciting, but the rest of the copy doesn't distinguish for me what the USP is over Trello.

@luikohl Great feedback Lui! Trello is a great productivity tool, and I have friends who run their lives on it. Caltra focuses on helping people plan out goals in a conversation-like and introduces a workflow, whereas Trello lets users figure out a workflow themselves. Caltra also focuses on feel good-ness upon doing work, with features like completing goals, weekly reports, and wellness.

This is a really simply design that works beautifully. I constantly has a journal on me of upcoming tasking and challenges, was on the look out for somewhere to place them online. This is the place. Looking forward to the android release!
