Hi Product Hunt, Dan here, co-founder of Bird Eats Bug. Great to re-meet you! When we first launched Bird Eats Bug on Product Hunt, we were a team of 3 blokes that built Bird out of our own frustration, having experienced the issues that teams face when it comes to communicating bugs firsthand. The Product Hunt community was amazing. Bird wouldn't have existed if not for Product Hunt. In fact, a lot of the users who signed up during our debut launch are still with us today. Thank you! Today, we’re very excited to present to you Bird 2.0 packed with new features: 👉 Bird Web SDK: Even your end-users can now start recording right within your web app. This will save your CS and Eng teams time debugging with context-rich bug reports. 👉 Replays: Think of this as a dashcam for bugs. The next time a bug occurs, you can simply re-live the issue and see what caused it, along with all the technical logs to help your development team to debug. 👉 E2E templates: Enable your product team to quickly convert manual tests and bugs to automated test scripts for Cypress, Selenium, Puppeteer and Playwright. 👉 Even more integrations: Connect Bird to Azure DevOps, GitHub, JIRA Cloud, Linear, Slack, Trello and Zapier. We’re pairing our launch with a Product Hunt special → coupon code “PH2022” to get $200 off your first payment. We’ll be hanging out in the comments section starting at 3am EST and would love to hear your thoughts. Happy bug reporting, Francisco, Jacky, Dan and the whole Bird team

Thank you, @mikro_mirko ! I hope your users will never actually come across a bug :)

Absolutely phenomenal tool - and an absolutely cracking team. The level of polish on this product (both design & engineering) is world-class, as is the customer support from everyone over at Bird Eats Bug HQ. I originally came across Bird from Linear's Integrations page and couldn't be happier we took a punt on this product. I had a quick look and we've clocked 129 reports via Bird so far. It's absolutely integral to our development workflow & customer support function. A massive shout out to Dan, Jacky, Philipp and everyone that makes it possible. Side note: it can be daunting dropping time & effort on a product that may or not be around tomorrow (as I'm sure is the case for a bunch of products on PH). Given the team have been proving themselves with Bird for years now, I personally believe that's not an issue. And even if the worse case struck, the time you've saved on reporting & deploying fixes more than makes up for any possibility of needing to switch. Given how much we enjoy using Bird though, really hope that never has to happen hah. PS - No disclaimers needed - not affiliated with Bird or any of the team in any way, shape or form other than being a particularly happy, paying, commercial customer.

@berkaydin thanks for the sheer effort that's gone into making Bird Eats Bug. Wishing the absolute best for you and the team 🙌

It's a lovely developer friendly product. My only input for the product that it should not only focus on developers. The bug posters are mostly non technical and the product should be very smooth for them. If you ask me every single click, MB, text is a loss for a bug poster. As a bug poster I usually like to either earn something like a voucher for my confirmed bugs (this is a nice feature request) or lose minimum amount of time and effort. Edit: what I wanted to say is keep up the good work but please keep improving the product for the bug posters. It's already smooth but as you know users are greedy bunchs. One second more to load the plugin and they stop posting the bug.

@htayyar Thanks for the feedback Hasan! We agree that bug reporting needs to become easier - happy to hear all your suggestions so we can keep improving. And I hope it's useful for you at your company :)
Dan Makarov
@htayyar Thanks a lot for your feedback. Actually, a lot of non-technical people are using Bird, because it's not harder than a regular screen recording. Some even mention that it's easier than Loom.

@daniel_makarov Right it is very simple. The part I love. But IMHO it should keep getting simpler as a it's main goal. I don't believe there is an end for simplifying the feedback mechanism.
Dan Makarov
@htayyar I see what you mean. We'll introduce Instant Replay to the SDK, so it will be pretty much 1 click to submit :)
