We also want to give a massive thank you to @chrismessina for hunting us! 🙏 I’ve spent the last few years building companies in the media, marketing, and creator space which has allowed me to spend a lot of time with hundreds of amazing creators from many different walks of life. While all of these creators had a unique story, audience, and style, they all seemed to have one thing in common They wanted the ability to: 🏃‍♂️ Reach people organically 👂 Connect and engage with their audience on a deeper level 💰 Monetize on their own terms Without having to use an overwhelming stack of tools and platforms. So 15 months ago we set out to solve that problem, We wanted to focus on a few key things: 📣 Allowing discovery like platforms like TikTok which allow you to organically build an audience from scratch 💬 Allowing the ability for everyone to chat and converse with the community like on Discord and Telegram so it's not just a one-way street 💳 Allowing the monetization and revenue ability of OnlyFans and Patreon and Substack and combining those in a simple and elegant manner. We also wanted to make it possible for anyone to start using the platform by allowing anyone to get started for free. (we support the platform via transaction fees 💳 🙏 ) And over the last 15 months, as we set out to accomplish this feat. We talked with hundreds of creators and community builders and built many versions and variations, so we’re excited to finally share Backspace and what it’s become. Backspace offers an ambitious collection of features to bring together communities of creators and fans into a single, unified environment. This space is getting competitive — and competition may come down to how generous or supportive the business model is to sustaining creators.

Congrats, really looking great, I have tried it, UI/UX is awesome. I faced some small issues, like didn't find an edit option on post, can't delete comments, and speed is slow. Otherwise, the tool is good. Best wishes 👌

@ankitsharmaofficial Thank you, I love your SaasWarrior community on Backspace! We currently are working on adding those features, We are facing some speed delays with the new users, but we have a new update incoming soon that should increase the speed immensely. With that said, Backspace is built off of feedback, so thanks again & we look forward to improving the experience for you and your community!

@ankitsharmaofficial We've added the ability to edit existing posts, you should now be able to see a pencil icon next to the delete post button that allows you to edit the text of that post. Just sent you a picture of it via Backspace DMs

@ankitsharmaofficial Ankit, huge thanks for taking the time to dig through the platform. As we transition to late stage beta, you'll see some massive optimizations in performance. Hopefully you can check back in, in a few weeks and see some of these features and enhancements come to life. To edit a post, you can open a post (click on comments) and if you're the owner you should see a pencil icon that lets you edit the post content. We'll send that feedback to our UI/UX engineers to see if we can make that more intuitive.
