How is this different than Acorns for example?

@sam_drotar Sure thing Sam, Acorns is the most basic concentrated portfolio with antiquated algorithms that are backward looking only. Allio is a true Global Macro Portfolio built on ML with stocks and bonds, but our technology (full scale optimization) allows us to also incorporate energy, gold, commodities, real estate into our portfolios. 21st Century Markets are going to be ripe with volatility, due to a changing global order around energy and a declining reliance on the dollar. Acorns will do fine in up markets with relative returns. However, if you really want to be an investor, your goal is Compound Growth and your focus has to be on Absolute Returns and how your portfolio responds in DOWN markets. 4 straight years of high single digit returns would essentially be wiped out with one down year in negative double digits. I’d love to send you some papers to explain these concepts better. Congratulations on the launch Joseph! I saw the demo video and I immediately understood what it is about! I like the idea of gamifying the experience of investing and keeping your portfolio updated because it can be pouring to explain it to common people and gamifying the experience makes the user stay for longer and help him or her achieve the goals! I have used a numbers of micro and automated investing, robo-advisory apps over the years. I think some of these investing apps have grown to be great, while many of them have stagnated to be mediocre at best. I am trying out this Allio Finance app, and so far it looks promising. The interface has that “pop” to attract users, which most of other apps do not. Simple robo questions, easy signup, and very minimal fees structure can definitely keep users stay with this new app while waiting for more features. Popping colors and ease of use got me interested, great product/features will keep me staying with them for the long term. Rating is 6/5 in my book.

Investing has been something I kept telling myself I’d get around to but then just never did it. I don’t have time to dedicate to doing a bunch of research to make sure I’m investing in the right thing. But Allio made it easy because it just does everything for you. I just answered a few questions about my background and financial goals and it created a portfolio automatically. I also set up automatic deposits so every month I’m investing more without having to think about it at all.
