You’re definitely right about this, common users are not interested in speed or subdomain, but our focus is on growth hack, entrepreneurs, small businesses, and enthusiasts (”the other piece of the cake”). For SEO propose or even traffic paid, subdomain and speed are very important, and here is why: Root domain vs Subdomain yloo.bio/marina vs marina.yloo.bio Google, Facebook, and others advertainment/analytics solutions separate the subdomain from the root-domain, so, for example: yloo.bio/marina If we operate like linktree and others (using root-domain), everything I do on my page yloo.bio/marina is gonna share with the root-domain, sounds great but if I use some kinda bad keyword and get a google or facebook penalization, this penalization is gonna share in all root-domain and this gonna be a bad thing for all pages in root-domain. So, If I make a bad thing in yloo.bio/marina, yloo.bio/jonassc is gonna suffer with this too! marina.yloo.bio If we operate with the subdomain, it’s different, because google and others separate things, so everything I do on my page (marina.yloo.bio) is gonna be on my page only because is a subdomain, and google/facebook/etc identifies this like “other domain, different domain”. If I want to, I can do something bad (like use wrong keywords or bad traffic paid), but only my page is gonna be penalized by google and others. This little thing changes a lot for small businesses and entrepreneurs, as they can use the yloo.bio page to create a small website for themselves or even a business card, and they can drive traffic to this page without fear of something building a wall between them, and they can also rank on Google Search using this strategy...
