Raycast removes context switching from your daily workflows. Stop jumping around browser tabs to perform simple tasks. Instead, use a few keystrokes to control your tools. Integrated with Jira, GitHub and G Suite amongst others. Extendable with scripts.

I've been using Raycast for some time and I'm still surprised of how fast it is! Also the scripting is super cool! Definitely recommend it!
Thomas Paul Mann
@lazar_nikolov1 Thanks! Can't wait to see with what script you come up next ;-)

Hey all ๐Ÿ‘‹ Thomas from the Raycast Team here. Weโ€™re super excited to open up Raycast to everyone and share it with the PH community today. Thanks Michael for the hunt! We built Raycast because weโ€™re fed up with chasing around browser tabs and tools to get work done. The simplest things take way too many clicks. Not to mention the time spent in front of loading indicators on websites. With Raycast, you can control your tools with a few keystrokes. The command line inspired interface unifies tools as commands to cut through the noise. Here are a few examples what you can do: - Launch apps or search files on your Mac - Create, search and close issues in Asana, GitHub, Jira or Linear - Check upcoming meetings - Join conference calls with a single keypress - Approve, merge and close GitHub pull requests - Convert units, check dates and solve equations with a powerful calculator - Much more and if that isn't enough, you can extend Raycast with scripts We hope you join the Raycast community and we'd love to get your feedback. Also, I'm super happy to answer questions!

Raycast is awesome. I've been using it for a couple of months now and it has totally streamlined how I work. A few things that I LOVE: - Whenever I have a zoom meeting, I can hit the Raycast shortcut and jump into the zoom meeting straight away ๐Ÿค™. No permissions dialogs or waiting for an intermediary webpage to load. - Spotlight is not a thing for me anymore ๐Ÿ”Ž. Raycast can do everything it does. I have turned off Spotlight and mapped Raycast to Cmd + Space. Now, Raycast is in my muscle memory and whenever I would use Spotlight I can now use Raycast instead. - Linear integration. Boom ๐Ÿ’ฅ. For simple tasks, I no longer need to log into Linear and use their UI. I can just do a small bit of keyboard navigation instead. - Github integration ๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿ’ป. More specifically, "My Pull Requests". I can quickly see which PRs I have been asked to review and which PRs I have been mentioned on. This has cleaned up my email inbox a TON as I turned off email notifications. Also, @thomaspaulmann and @petr_nikolaev and team are just super responsive. They have been pushing updates like it's going out of fashion. A new update EVERY WEEK. Really impressed by the progress. I love Raycast more every day.

Thank you @davej! Your feedback was super helpful during the beta! ๐Ÿ’Œ
Thomas Paul Mann
@thomaspaulmann @petr_nikolaev @davej Aww... This is such a great list of use cases. So glad to had you as a beta tester during our private beta. The tool wouldn't be the same without your feedback and bug reports.
Chandan Lodha
Just set this up and already replaced Spotlight. It's awesome. The linear and zoom integrations alone are amazing. Would love to see Notion support as well.
Thomas Paul Mann
@chanfest22 That's the spirit! Notion popped up plenty of times. They don't provide an API yet. I would love to have an extension for it as well haha
Chandan Lodha
@chanfest22 @thomaspaulmann Awesome, will tell them about this. Would love to see Google Calendar and Slack added as well

@coffeestacker Thanks for your support. Super happy you like our design. We put quite a lot of effort into making the app feel lightweight.
Danil Gontovnik
I've been privileged to use Raycast for the 2-3 weeks. Love the product, especially the ability to add my own scripts (aka integrations). Congratulations @thomaspaulmann, @petr_nikolaev, and the team, really proud of you!
Petr Nikolaev
@danil_gontovnik Thank you! ๐ŸŽ‰

I used to think you would have to pry Alfred from my cold, dead hands โ€” but Raycast is an absolute game-changer. This thing is incredible! Superb work @petr_nikolaev and team ๐Ÿ‘Š
Petr Nikolaev
@vincetardy Thank you so much for your kind words! ๐Ÿ™

I've been using Raycast for the last month or two and it's such a great tool for quickly checking the status of Github PRs and searching through issues on JIRA. I can't wait to see what else comes from this team!
Thomas Paul Mann
@bjtitus Nice! thanks for your being part of our private beta. Can't wait to bring Raycast to the next level with you together.
Thiago Holanda
Raycast is an amazing software and since I started to use, I never had a single second of regret. The community created around of the app is awesome, everyone on the team are very kind to answer the questions of everyone, all the ideas are heard and this is the huge reason for me to be on slack suggesting tons of things and also helping when I can. If you donโ€™t use Raycast yet, you should try. Thanks a lot for all support @thomaspaulmann, @petr_nikolaev and @vadimshpakovski! You are the best!
Thomas Paul Mann
@thomaspaulmann @petr_nikolaev @vadimshpakovski @tholanda Awww... Thanks for the kind words. We're so happy to have you as one of our Community heroes. Your contributions to all-things related to script commands are just phenomenal! Can't wait to grow our community together with you and share the good vibes with many more.
Craig Paterson
Really nice design, looking forward to testing to see how it compares to Alfred.
Thomas Paul Mann
@craigcpaterson Glad you like it and let us know about your testing!
Wes Baker
@craigcpaterson @thomaspaulmann I really like Raycast, but it's missing Alfred's ability to move files around using Universal Actions. Is that something Raycast is looking into or is there another tool that'll serve that need?
Ivan Mir
A native app? Exclusively for Mac? Leveraging macOS automation capabilities? Yep, that's an upvote.
Petr Nikolaev
@ivmirx Thanks!
Nahuel Cuesta Luengo
Been using it for a couple of weeks now, alongside Alfred. Gave it a try just thinking "What has this to offer that Alfred doesn't already provide?" - boy was I wrong. It's slick, productive, (really) fast and easy on the wrist. I really enjoy using it and, although I still haven't completely made the switch from Alfred, I find myself using Raycast more and more every day. Excellent work, team! Thanks for Raycast.
Petr Nikolaev
Thank you for kind words @nahuel_cuesta_luengo!
Jimmy McDermott
Raycast is one of the slickest and most productive applications I've used in a long time. I'm so excited that it's launching for the public.
Thomas Paul Mann
@jdmcd Awww, great to hear that! Also thanks for the contributions in the community during our private beta.
Dmitrij Kurilo
Great tool - will try it out. What are you near future plans for the product?
Thomas Paul Mann
@dmitry_kurilo Thanks. First handling all the feedback that we're getting today :D But seriously, making Raycast more extendable together with our community. Let me know how your first steps are going.
Nhat Khanh Le Dinh
Been using raycast for a while now and completely replaced Spotlight with Raycast, I can quickly see a list of my JIRA issues, Github PR with just my keyboard and the extentions are amazing!
Amanda Zhu
This looks stunning - definitely going to try it out. ๐Ÿคฉ
Thomas Paul Mann
@amanda_zhu Thanks. Let us know about your first steps.
