Mastodon Chirper is a browser extension which integrates the Mastodon social network with the twitter.com UI. This extension offers an easy way to be a part of both Mastodon and Twitter, all while making use of the brilliant twitter.com UI.

Over the Christmas holidays I had an idea for a new product. The Mastodon Chirper was the culmination of that idea. I wanted to be a part of both Twitter and Mastodon communities at the same time, without needing to switch backwards and forwards between twitter.com and mastodon.social (or another Mastodon instance). As I already enjoy using the Twitter.com UI I decided to see how feasible it would be to create an extension which adds Mastodon posts to my Twitter timeline. It turns out that this works pretty well. I think the extension can grow to contain many more features, assuming that this MVP is enjoyed by others I would love to extend it. I would really love to hear feedback, both good and bad. Cheers!
