I see a lot of consistency here.
Up at 6am, walk with my daughter, perform my stretches (part yoga, part physio exercises re: gym injuries(!)) and then a slow start to my working day.
430am read
5am gym
6am walk and coffee
730am first session of deep work
If I don’t do anything after the first session if deep work for the rest of the day, I still feel like I have accomplished something.
@james_hallahan Interesting, maybe I'll try to play around with deep work in the mornings. Usually I use mornings for busy work and leave deep work for the afternoons, however I've noticed that sometimes my entire day can fly by just doing busy work. It leaves me both more tired and less satisfied.
@charmandro let me know how you go. The reason I do all of this in the morning is purely due to the unpredictability of the day unfolding. And if it is unpredictable, I know I have completed tasks and activities that still allow me to be happy with my day
Hi Natia, Im working on mine but I currently go to the gym early morning. Have some breakfast, try not to think about work, would rather have a peaceful breakfast. And by around 9am ill be in the office ready to go!
I've been experimenting around as of late, but currently my morning routine looks like this:
-Wake up, take my supplements first thing
-Take a few minutes to do nothing & try to reflect on my dreams, understand my mood, and ask myself what kind of day I would like to have
-Short walk outside
-Healthy breakfast - I take my time to make exactly what I want to eat
-Settle into my work with a few simple/routine tasks and slowly pick up from there
