When building a MVP for mobile application, is it good to focus only on iOS for product validation?

I haven't built apps in years but I would 100% do that. There are some niches that will perform better on Android but overall, iOS gives you more opportunity and is easily to make money with. If you get 1000 downloads for each app, 99% of the time, you'll make significally more with iOS.
