I have a lot of respect for people that could hustle enough to grow an indie dev tool into something sustainable. What are some great examples? What made it successful on the marketing and community side?

One project I am a fan of is https://plausible.io, well executed and a need met at the right time (when data regulations were going into place).

One standout indie dev tool success story is the journey of Jira, developed by Atlassian. Initially created as an internal bug and issue tracking system. BTW, speaking of tools, I'm excited to share that I'm launching Okfeedback, a feedback management platform with customizable widgets and survey forms, on 9th Jan. Your support as an indie developer means a lot.
