A topic coming up slowly: the shortage of raw materials, for electronic, energy, cars and any industries. AI, new smartphones and electric cars are cool and exciting until the supply chain is not responding due to a lack of materials.
We are fine today, but that will be an issue increasing over the years!
AI feels like it's taking over everything and I think it'll inevitably just lead to people being burned out on the idea of it and most products will fade. Not everything needs AI to the extent that it's being developed I think.
AI is starting to feel more like a buzzword. Who knows maybe I'm wrong and it'll just grow and grow!
@carter_barnett AI has been popular 5–6 years ago with all the image recognition and stuff. I think that it will simply be a part of a lot of products. E.g. today Slack released their integration with ChatGPT and a lot of chatgpt bots for slack are simply not needed anymore.
@fedoskin Agreed. I think I'm thinking more towards the amount of AI products we're seeing today that seem to be added to products for the sake of saying "AI" and newsjacking a trend.
When I looked at the comments below the discussion, I saw that what everyone was talking about was AI. I disagree, just because it is used in some areas does not mean it will replace everything
