What makes an outstanding junior dev?

As someone starting out in web-development after a career shift (🧑‍🏫 --> 👨‍💻), I have a vested interest in this topic. Basically, my goal is to become an outstanding engineer and effective team-mate to help take our startup to greatness! I am curious what traits, approaches, skills, bearings, people see as integral to being successful as a developer - particularly one starting out. I am so interested in a holistic take on this from both technical and non-technical peeps. ✌️

1- Junior dev makes mistakes but keeps getting better 2- It is a long journey, so be sure to enjoy it 3- You will feel the pressure a lot of time, just believe in your goal 4- Don't give up! 5- Be kind to people and don't get disturbed, you are still learning! @edgar_neau Thanks for that advice. As someone without a formal academic qual in Comp Sci I definitely feel the imposter syndrome creep in sometimes. Luckily, to your 2nd point: I certainly am Loving it!! I will check out your product, congratulations on the launch!

Recently hired a junior developer and he's not perfect. But he's SO welcoming to feedback, and he's SO quick to improve upon his code, that the rest of the team is delighted to have him on board. His willingness to learn and energy are key.
