Honestly, I still love reddit after all these years. Not for the top posts but for the vibrant communities in niche areas (college football, formula 1, tennis are a few of my favourites). I haven't found any other platform that's connected me with such a large number of people that deeply know things I'm also passionate about.
Great question!
Product Hunt: Absolutely hooked on it, such a vibrant community! I'm launching soon as well, so it's been amazing for making connections, exploring new tech tools, and soaking in all the good vibes.
Spotify: Even though I have Apple Music, Spotify just has me addicted. The interface, the playlists—it’s unbeatable.
Arc Browser: I didn’t expect a browser to feel this fun, but the sleek design and usability are next-level. Can’t stop using it!
@ashleyrehan Joined Product Hunt for the reasons you mentioned. I spent most of my time on LinkedIn, and now, I'm here. Do you think networking over here happens the same way as on LinkedIn?
@usman_khan89 Obviously!
LinkedIn is a good place to networking but still the community here is different- we all are trying to build something and grow together
So this has more exposure and potential than LinkedIn in my opinion
@ashleyrehan@usman_khan89 I guess its even more meaningful here on PH, as its more around people being genuine about what they are building and less of fake bs. What do you think?
@ashleyrehan@balaji_rao1 I am planning to launch a startup in the Fitness niche. We are at the stage of validation, but soon, we will start working on the execution.
@ashitvora currently connecting with fellow content marketers, writers, and strategists. hitting the connection invitation limit every other week. looking to share some unique educational content with them sometime later.
I'm obsessed with TikTok right now! It's a fun way to relax and discover new things. Plus, the algorithm is pretty good at recommending stuff I'll actually enjoy.
I have to mention GenYOU, an AI app we’re launching soon. It lets you create images of yourself in different styles, backgrounds, etc.
You might think I’m saying this just because it’s my company’s app, but I’ve always been into AI apps. When FaceApp first launched, I played with it non-stop for weeks, and the same goes for Reface, Snapchat, and others😩
- Product Hunt (love connecting w/ people)
- LinkedIn (connecting w/ prospects)
- Draftly (shameless plug but its true)
- Reddit (nothing beats Reddit when it comes to learning new things)
- Chess.com - helps me relax whenever I need a break.
- LinkedIn and Twitter are great for staying updated on trends and connecting with like-minded people in tech and product spaces. Twitter, especially for real-time updates.
- I also Notion for organizing work, managing personal projects, and ideas on daily basis.
Honestly, I'm now heavily dependent on apps that help with productivity and learning. For example, I love Notion for organizing tasks - it's a lifesaver for my work and study. I also use ChatGPT a lot because it helps me find answers to difficult questions or come up with new ideas.
I recently discovered https://www.overchat.ai/, a site about the best AI models and tools. Thanks to it, I started to figure out how to use AI even more effectively, and found a bunch of useful tricks for my tasks.
I'm addicted to my own AI platform Zeel right now. Built it because I was tired of seeing non-tech business owners struggle with AI strategy and content creation. Now I can't stop using it myself!
@tjlarkin I am addicted to - ClipWizard. Hahah just here to support you on the launch day.
Btw is this the Zeal AI - https://zeals.ai/en/ or am i on the worng one
