Something changed on Product Hunt 🤔

@vertikanigam They gave me a scripted non answer. It's definitely not a random one-off. It's happened so often that I thought my account was flagged, but apparently not. This is my latest Discussion: https://www.producthunt.com/disc... I really would've thought that PH users would appreciate someone building nice features for them and that we'd have a very lively discussion. But no, it got quarantined for too long so it's momentum is gone.

@jgani looks like everything’s fine now Jonni! Last time, you couldn’t even add a link. I think PH is working on some updates, and since they manually verify stuff (my conclusion), it created a backlog

@claudiu_cogalniceanu I wouldn't describe it as fine at all, Claudiu. Discussions are one of the only ways to legitimately and genuinely connect with other people, research, ask for feedback, etc. By making it impossible to do this (due to quarantined discussions), it would push people to pursue dark methods (spam).

@jgani yep, I've also noticed the problem with discussions. Some of mine never appear on the discussions page too. And links being blocked after a couple of times you post them seriously decreases the amount of interactions you can get for your launch in discussions. I just don't know if it's always been like this or are these problems new to the platform? Because I've been noticing it since joining PH in the end of February!

@michaelshver Would you be interested if I was to create an alternative space for founders to discuss things with each other freely without all these restrictions? I think in fighting spam PH has made Discussions almost unusable for most of us.
