Team, strong teams can change the world and actually create something big. Solo it's a nice story to sell, but long term projects i believe start there

It depends on what you want to achieve. If you want to accomplish something huge and large-scale, of course, you need a team. And not just a small team of 5, 10, or 20 people—the bigger the idea, the more people you'll need. If you simply want to make money and have independence, then going solo is, of course, the better option. That way, you won’t depend on a partner or colleagues and can work whenever you want, but in this case, you limit your potential.

@byalexai I think it's always better to start alone and then try in a team. You need to have experience in both cases so you can compare.

For most people, it's team. Solo requires strong willpower and the ability to to gather information, which is very challenging.

I like diversity and both system. I want to have something own because it teaches you to be stronger. But I also need to have a team because there are many ideas and you need to know how to communicate with people, how to show empathy. You will be working with people whether you want it or not at the end of the day because they pay to you and you need to show them humanity.

I think if you have both domain knowledge and skill to build a product, then solo is a good way to start. A team should complete you
