Slack or Discord?

I think Discord would be better, sometimes people don't wanna check slack after work hours :)

Slack caps message history for free plans. So no history. If you care about message history, probably Discord even though their UI is bad. :)

I am guessing most of your users are heavy slack users, so that might be a better option if you want to grow it faster

For EarlyBird users I guess Discord will be good. You can have lot more fun on it.

I'd also opt for Discord (well, that's actually what I did for the Endel community: https://discord.gg/endelsound) They've been developing the platform with a focus on communities, so you'll always have social / fun / fancy features to experiment with. The bots (or internal apps) are also worth checking out.

I think Discord would be better since you can do many things there.

I like discord better. I never really liked Slack. I wish IRC would make a comeback 🥸
