Bootstrap if you want to take the harder path because it requires a lot of work and focus, especially if you are going to be a Customer Centric. You should be able to land new customers monthly and get some profits to pay whoever is working on the project. Otherwise, you'll end up burnt out.
Consider your growth speed, control desires, and risk tolerance before deciding! =)

It completely depends on where the startup stands and its needs!

Definitely bootstrap for as long as you can. Even if you end up seeking external funding, you will be in much better position rather than giving up equity at the very start.

You should plan to bootstrap for a long as possible and at least until you can demonstrate credible product/market.

Bootstrap and onboard customers who help you break even and turn profitable and land VCs when you want to focus heavily on growth.

Depends on the product. Give us some more context

Depends. But if allowed, bootstrap is always my first option.
