@ajay_reddy4 I feel calmer and happier when going to beaches. Just as someone else has also mentioned, there's a feeling of relaxation about being close to water. What about you?
Mountains have a certain serene magic, don't they? I'm with you, Ajay; there's something about the crisp air and quiet of the high altitudes that's incredibly refreshing.
@ajay_reddy4 I like snowboarding it's great adrenaline experience, that why "especially in winter" but I'm also a fan of hiking so mountains are great whole year 🙂
I like both. Two different types of escapes. Hiking mountains gives you physical challenges rewarded with untouched views. The beach allows you to decompress into the sand with crashing waves as your audio playlist. Both allow you to escape reality and the day to day. I’m going sailing in 2 weeks for the first time in the Virgin Islands. Have a feeling it will be challenging and rewarding as well.
Mountains have their unique tranquility and breathtaking views that really resonate with me as well, Ajay. There's something about the crisp mountain air and the sense of adventure on a hike that beaches just can't match.
@ajay_reddy4 I've done a 12 day wilderness backpacking trek in the Pecos mountains of New Mexico with each of my sons. First one in 2012 and the second in 2015. So much fun.
