In my opinion, product should be good, else connecting and building relationships won't be useful in the long run. Secondly, sometimes people also try to quantify what they want to do with a specific influencer and try to do short term commitment. Rather, it will be better for both the influencer and the company/product if they collaborate with a long term perceptive in mind and how both parties can facilitate each other's growth in the long run.
