Makers without existing audiences: what helped you get enough upvotes to make it to the PH homepage?

I unselected 'featured' on the homepage and viewed 'all' and wow - there's a lot of products that never get enough upvotes to make it to the homepage! Makers who made it onto the PH homepage without using a big time hunter, and without having an existing audience to promote your launch to, what helped you?

I was in a similar boat as a creator without an audience. What really made a difference for me was providing valuable content, engaging with the community, and, surprisingly, considering unique topics like yoohoo homes as the ultimate property portal Diverse content can attract a wider audience and more upvotes!
