@mansi_trivedi1 Creating communities is very hard. I'm in an invite only slack with mostly Faang employees. It's like 2-3k people. And maybe 10% of that is active 20% is semi active etc. We constantly add more people via referral, We nominate and they are invites etc. It works. Has for years. Because of the allure of hanging out with the FAANG people and that we are there because of a common interest. While im others with the same kind of pedigree of people and about the same amount. But the common interest isn't as focused, and it's wayyyy less active. Community dynamics is interesting. I definitely think you can start a community, but it has to be around something I think. And somehow solve the critical mass issue. Sometimes the common interest can be what pulls in the masses. Ref various reddit groups that are strong communities that grow.

@sentry_co I think this "Not very active members" problem is pretty universal at this point. 😅 Building an interactive and active community requires team efforts, not a one person job for sure! 🤝😇

@mansi_trivedi1 Funny enough. The thriving community im in coincidentally is run by this one guy. Mr. what's-his-name. "MergeSort" is his name. (I think he works around the clock tho 😅, his always on my case 😅 😅) But I guess he spends his time doing what he loves. hanging out with us 🥰

@mansi_trivedi1 I do recommend hanging out here on PH tho. I have only been active here for about 6months now. You find your clique, and connect in other SoMe's and slowly form a group. Might turn into something bigger in the future.

@shikha_singh15 Seems noisy but I think it's more accessible. What do you think people would choose more, Slack, WhatsApp, LinkedIn or someplace else??
