Is ProductHunt launch a good source of customers?

I think that completely depends on your target audience and how many people you can reach with your launch.

I think it definitely is, it will not only bring traffic but for some reason many other directories also list you for free - so it will also help in backlinking - if you have a successful launch

from our last experience, I'd say it rather helped us to get investors than users. it seems like ProductHunt is a good source of early testers, but not so many of them are actually our target audience.
