Formal Sprint planning? Release formality and automated testing? Deep product plan and burn down? Or is it too early for that? Too rigid for speed?

I prefer fast releases with no formal sprint planning, unfortunately that's not always the case. Any new agile solution for large companies?

I totally agree with you. We chose to instill some early rigor into our process but not the whole thing like we would have in a larger more mature team. But we do stick to a 2 week sprint with standard release and QA protocol.
