How do you handle negative feedback or criticism on Product Hunt?

I haven't launched on PH yet but love, adore and embrace negative feedback! It is much more helpful than wow that's nice and silence. Negative feedback from target users is smth that helped me build products with millions of users.

Most of the negative feedback or criticism on PH I consider to be pointing out the shortcomings of my products, and if it's a personal attack on me, I'll just report it!

Always take it as constructive criticism! People are here to help, so always use their feedback to iterate. Never let it put you down.

Talk to the person more. Listen to them and understand where they're coming from.

Simply acknowledge them and say you'll do better. See what can be accepted and move on from the rest.

IMO critical feedback is always better than tepid positive feedback. Without it you can't improve.
