Have you ever tried AppSumo?

I've tried it and the app I bought there did what I wanted it to do. I think a major problem there from the user point of view is the lack of mainstream software. I'm actually currently building something similar to AppSumo, but better :) Curious to hear other people's experiences with services like this one.

I’ve used AppSumo to find some great deals. Their lifetime offers are a solid way to grab tools at a fraction of the cost

My experience with AppSumo has been mixed. I’ve found some gems, but a few products didn’t live up to the hype. Still, it’s a good place to explore new tools
