Does so many startups are succeeding so fast these days?
I'm seeing some founders with large following creating a myth around no-code, building and launching something in days/weeks and making $$!
The facts are different. I'm following the startup community since 2019 and experience that there are lots of founders who gets motivated because of these fancy posts.
So, let's burst some myth and tell the new founders what it is to jump into startup world, build, launch, and succeed.

I will start with mine!
1️⃣ How you started?
I started SaaS Experts - a free & community driven resource directory for founders. I started this as I am working on saas development for more than 10 years now and felt there isn't a community focusing providing right guidance and resources for free to early-stage saas founders.
2️⃣ How much time and money you invested to launch?
I spent 2-3 weeks before I launched. Since I owned another domain, I didn't invested actual money. I'm using free plan of softr, a subdomain, and manual approval process to new submissions.
3️⃣ How much time and money you invested to promote it,
I spent 2-3 hours for 2-3 weeks to promote it on twitter build in public community.
4️⃣ Exactly when you found your first paying customer from which platform?
Since my website is community driven and free, I didn't made any money out of it but I got my first submission from twitter. It's also the highest traffic driver followed by indie hacker, news .ycombinator .com and then product hunt.
Some good advices I received:
▶ SaaS Experts is too generic, niche down
▶ Put up lots of content by yourself instead of waiting for community
▶ Add rich search and filter capabilities.
I took a pause to better understand this and will resume working on this in 2025. If you are a SaaS Founder, I'm open to more suggestions.

To succeed is very difficult – you can see many startups that succeeded, but also you cannot see much more that didn't succeed. We only see 2% and no one cares about loser's story (I know that it sounds harsh, but it is a fact). + with AI it is easier to build something. But harder to differentiate.
While many startups are achieving rapid success, it's still relatively rare. Success often comes down to timing, innovation, and a strong team. However, with the right conditions, startups today have more resources and opportunities to scale quickly.
