Do you guys know why a product does not get "featured" in PH?
We've just launched this morning, and I was surprised to see that Touring was not showing in the homepage of Product Hunt.
I then discovered, to my complete surprise, that there are "featured" and "non featured" products, but I honestly did not notice beforehand (with months of usage).
Any idea why? Thanks for the help!

@chris_sarca It's so weird. The funny thing is that I contacted support and argued why Touring should be featured, showcasing all the effort we put into it, and they did!

A feature is never guaranteed on Product Hunt.
But here are 7 ways to ensure you AREN'T featured:
1. Not a real SaaS product (ex. a PDF guide)
2. No maker comment (ALWAYS ADD THIS)
3. Your link is broken (this happens more than you think)
4. You didn't schedule in advance (ALWAYS DO THIS)
5. Duplicate launch (don't launch it 3x)
6. Minor feature ("No small boy stuff" - @ShaanVP
)
7. Unclear tagline (Don't say "The best ever", say how the product helps people)
Bookmark this as a checklist next time you launch!
@byalexai Pretty sure I had all of those ticked, and when I contacted them they immediately featured me. So I guess this does not apply always.
Oh, the mystery of the elusive "featured" badge on Product Hunt, like finding hidden Easter eggs in a digital treasure hunt! Maybe Touring just needs a secret map or a sprinkle of Product Hunt magic dust to make it to the homepage spotlight! 🌟
