Filifly is a free, cloud-based file-sharing platform that allows users to transfer files between devices without login/account. The platform was designed to make file sharing easier and more convenient for users.
I always used to face a need to share a photo to my computer or a photo from the computer to my phone. I tried some ways like WhatsApp and Google Drive but they require me to log in or create an account. I wanted a hassle-free, no login/account system. So here it is, Filifly!
Filifly Features:
1. Quick and easy-to-use interface
2. Secure SSL encryption to protect your files
3. No registration required to send or receive files
4. Upload and share files up to 20 MB in size (will be increased soon).
5. Send to any platform (Email, WhatsApp, Telegram, Messenger, LINE, Viber, and more coming soon...)
6. Receive on any platform (Email, WhatsApp, Telegram, Messenger, LINE, Viber, and more coming soon...)
7. Free of cost.
I'm looking forward to working with interested developers to invest their valuable time in Filifly to make it a better platform. Mail us at filifly@filifly.com
Congrats on the launch. I have two suggestions and one question. The question is, "what's your revenue model," beside donations? If I was to invest my time in helping you, you must have thought of a way to make it profitable, and adding payment plans will defy the hassle-free core experience entirely.
About the suggestions, now.
Filifly might be a bit challenging to read because of the consecutive "l" and "i" characters, which could potentially affect readability. It's generally a good practice to avoid consecutive identical letters in a domain name, as it can lead to confusion when typing or reading the URL.
Having Privacy Policies and ToS's without a verifiable name and address (entity) can potentially raise concerns about transparency and trustworthiness. In your case, don't forget that you are processing potentially sensitive data. A privacy policy is a legal document that outlines how you collect, use, and protect personal information. It's an important aspect of building trust with your users. If users have privacy-related concerns or complaints and cannot easily contact someone responsible for data handling, it could lead to legal issues or regulatory violations. Meaning that your actual PP and ToS will most likely discourage potential users to use your service.
@fabiosalvadori
Hi Fabio Salvadori! Thank you for your valuable response. I appreciate.
We are working on some extra features at Filifly. So then we may implement the payment system (pay as you go) other than donation.
About the name, I agree with you at some extent but yet we've decided this name and now we don't want to change it. I personally think it's a unique name, yes confusing to type too. But it's just F I L I F L Y.
We will update the PP and ToS soon. Thank you so much ❤️📂
@kinzarra we are planning to implement end-to-end encryption as we grow. We are also looking for developer to contribute on Filifly to make it better and more secure. Feel free to share your opinion/recommendation. Thank you 😊
