Hi PH! We're the ByteBeacon team. We built this tool internally for our needs where we have a POST call to an exposed API that triggers a notification on different channels ... To be honest, there was nothing fancy here until we started adding in preference options on how people liked to receive notifications. The sender was completely oblivious to how the notification had to be consumed. We felt this was a generic enough problem and people were solving it again and again. Another trigger was when a friend without a tech background saw the tool and talked about potential use cases where something like this could be used as an announcement platform and has alerting / announcing like use cases. We're still early in this journey, but given we built the tool internally for our need, we're looking to validate this need with other developers first and expand to more use cases later.
