Hey Product Hunters 👋 Ash from Buffer here. Breaking Brand is our first podcast series, it follows the team at Pattern Brands as they launch the business and take their first brand to market. Here's a little on the backstory... The Breaking Brand project all started back in March 2019 when I reached out to @emmettshine to pitch a story I wanted to write about how Gin Lane builds modern brands. We wanted to cover Gin Lane's approach as they have helped to launch some of the biggest brands of recent years: Harry’s, Sunday Goods, Recess, Stadium Goods, Rockets of Awesome, Sweetgreen. After some back-and-forth, Emmett shared that there was a much bigger story to tell here... Gin Lane was closing down (!!) and the team was launching a new business called Pattern Brands. As soon as Emmett shared this, we knew it was a story we wanted to share. The podcast follows the Pattern Brands founding team throughout this transition. During the series you'll hear: - How Gin Lane started and became one of the world's best branding agencies - How this success lead to burnout (and how rediscovering the joy in everyday moments helped the team to unite behind a new mission) - The Gin Lane / Pattern Brands approach to building brands - What it's like to take a new direct-to-consumer business to market And more... All episodes of Breaking Brand season 1 are now available. We’d love you to have a listen and look forward to any feedback. 🙏 Thanks so much! Ash

Thank you to Ash and the team at Buffer, they did an awesome job of producing and editing. Got a lot of nice feedback from listeners, you always hope these things are valuable to people. We tried to show some insight into our process - it's not always all perfect and easy. Startups are by nature challenging, and thus so important to share notes, thoughts, and learnings. 🙌🏽
