I've noticed that more and more people are dedicating their weekends to side projects, extra work, or catching up on tasks from the week. While the hustle is admirable, I believe weekends should be reserved for rest, relaxation, and quality time with loved ones.

Whether it's spending time with family, exploring a hobby, or simply recharging for the week ahead, taking a break is crucial for long-term productivity and well-being.
What do you think? Do you work on weekends, or do you keep it strictly for personal time? How do you balance the demands of work with the need to relax?
Letโs hear your thoughts!

Somewhere between. Want to enjoy last summer's sunny days because then the windy autumn comes and cold is a pain for my nerves :D + working on my weekly newsletter (I made quite a sad decision about one of my projects) + video edits + preparing for a local art festival in my town. And much more.

@busmark_w_nika ahan! Nika, you've got a lot on your plate. Sending you positive vibes for everything youโre juggling! ๐
If I overthink during the weekdays, I just want to relax on the weekends, playing games or working out with good friends. If I'm not busy and not too tired, I might work on something, but the hot weather right now makes me just want to unwind. This weekend, I'm planning to meet some new friends and share insights about our industry.
If you want to rest, my friend, donโt force yourself. It's important to follow your heart. Have a great weekend!

Iโm with you, I believe weekends are essential for recharging.
However, I think itโs also important to be realistic; during particularly busy periods, working on weekends can be necessary. As long as itโs not too frequent, I think itโs okay. But when it becomes a regular thing, it can definitely lead to burnout, even if you love what you do.

Oh, it's terrible to handle for me.
Even when I push myself to do out somewhere I feel myself shit as I'm not doing anything useful, and in the end that rest destroys me even more.
It's a sprint phase for me, and I know that it's very unhealthy.
But hopefully after our launch I would rest a bit.
Honestly, I love spending my weekends outdoors, hiking, camping, or just enjoying the fresh air."
I find working on personal projects during weekends invigorating. Itโs a nice change of pace from the regular work week.
The weekends are my time to unwind and disconnect from work. Rest is crucial for a productive week ahead.
Balancing work and relaxation is tough, but I enjoy working on my side projects when I can. It keeps me motivated. ๐ ๏ธ

Weekend's all about finding that balance bro ๐ Grind hard during the week so you can chill & recharge on the weekend ๐น๐ด But sometimes a side project gets me too hyped & I end up coding all weekend ๐จ๐ป๐ป Anyone else get sucked into work mode on weekends? I need better work/life separation ๐
Totally with you on this. I try to keep my weekends for hobbies and downtime. It makes the workweek feel less overwhelming.
Weekends are all about unwinding for me. After a busy week, it's essential to relax and recharge.
Saturday mornings are perfect for a leisurely brunch and some Netflix. Sundays are for catching up on chores
I used to work through weekends, but now I reserve that time for myself and my family. Itโs made a huge difference in my overall well-being.
