Work or Chill: How Do You Spend Your Weekend? ๐Ÿ› ๏ธ vs. ๐Ÿ›Œ

I've noticed that more and more people are dedicating their weekends to side projects, extra work, or catching up on tasks from the week. While the hustle is admirable, I believe weekends should be reserved for rest, relaxation, and quality time with loved ones. Whether it's spending time with family, exploring a hobby, or simply recharging for the week ahead, taking a break is crucial for long-term productivity and well-being. What do you think? Do you work on weekends, or do you keep it strictly for personal time? How do you balance the demands of work with the need to relax? Letโ€™s hear your thoughts!

Oh, it's terrible to handle for me. Even when I push myself to do out somewhere I feel myself shit as I'm not doing anything useful, and in the end that rest destroys me even more. It's a sprint phase for me, and I know that it's very unhealthy. But hopefully after our launch I would rest a bit.

Saturday is a mix of work and play, but Sunday is strictly family day for us to spend time with our kiddos. Laptops aren't open until they go to bed on Sunday evening.

If I overthink during the weekdays, I just want to relax on the weekends, playing games or working out with good friends. If I'm not busy and not too tired, I might work on something, but the hot weather right now makes me just want to unwind. This weekend, I'm planning to meet some new friends and share insights about our industry. If you want to rest, my friend, donโ€™t force yourself. It's important to follow your heart. Have a great weekend!

Bro, weekends for me are all about chillin' and recharging from the grind ๐Ÿ˜ด๐Ÿ’ค But I try to keep a good balance, ya know? Saturday is for catchin' up with friends over some ๐Ÿป, hittin' the gym ๐Ÿ’ช, or scopin' out a new spot in the city ๐ŸŒƒ Sunday tho is straight up R&R - sleepin' in ๐Ÿ˜ด, bingein' shows ๐Ÿ“บ, maybe doin' a lil self care ๐Ÿง˜โ™‚ Gotta be ready to crush it come Monday mornin' ๐Ÿ’ผ๐Ÿ’ช It's all about that work hard, play hard lifestyle ๐Ÿ”ฅ

Iโ€™m with you, I believe weekends are essential for recharging. However, I think itโ€™s also important to be realistic; during particularly busy periods, working on weekends can be necessary. As long as itโ€™s not too frequent, I think itโ€™s okay. But when it becomes a regular thing, it can definitely lead to burnout, even if you love what you do.

Mix of both for me - hustle on my side project ๐Ÿ’ป in the morning, then chill with friends/fam ๐Ÿ‘จ๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐Ÿ‘ง๐Ÿ‘ฆ and have a couple ๐Ÿบ in the afternoon/evening to recharge for the week ahead. Gotta have that work/life balance! ๐Ÿง˜โ™‚

Weekend's all about finding that balance bro ๐Ÿ˜Ž Grind hard during the week so you can chill & recharge on the weekend ๐Ÿน๐ŸŒด But sometimes a side project gets me too hyped & I end up coding all weekend ๐Ÿ‘จ๐Ÿ’ป๐Ÿ’ป Anyone else get sucked into work mode on weekends? I need better work/life separation ๐Ÿ˜‚

I chill and usually indulge myself in intellectual activities such as reading books, listening to classical music "Bach, Vivaldi and etc", learning new skills and etc.

Chilling with family and taking time for myself is key. Weekend should be a break from the hustle
