    I'm not sure it's "better" it's just part of the marketing mix. People have different ways they consume content. Some prefer video to reading...perhaps the better question is; what does your potential customer value and prefer?

    @neha_8 I think that a problem is that it's much harder to get a decent following on blogging than on social media. But if you already have a considerable blogging following from the beginning, then blogging may be an excellent medium to go more in-depth with your product.

    I think both can be powerful when they work hand-in-hand. You should blog about topics you're passionate about and answer questions that come from experience. Social media marketing can help you then break the blog down and put it out as thoughtful pieces of discourse.

    I think it depends on your target audience and where they hang out. I've seen social media marketing work a treat for B2C products - whether physical or digital. We have a B2(small)B and blogging works way better for us.
