When to give up?

I'm curious to know your take on this.
When do you stop pushing a product idea? How do you decide that it's time to pivot or kill this product?
What metrics or rule-of-thumbs do you use?

I read somewhere if after 3 months, you don't get any traction, then it's probably time to consider letting it go. I did this with one of my failed ventures, and overall, I think it is quite good advice. Of course, every product and service is different, so don't take anything literally from a guy on the internet you've never seen before. 😂

Hmm, 3 months seems a bit short to give up totally, but definitely a good checkpoint to reflect on traction and pivot if needed. Ultimately, I think you gotta trust your gut. If deep down you still believe in the product and see a path forward, keep pushing! But if your passion is waning and you're spinning your wheels, might be time to put it on ice and try something new. Fail fast and keep creating! 💪
Persistence is key, but also gotta know when to pivot. 3 months with zero traction, might be time to rethink the strategy or target market. But don't give up on the dream! Maybe just need to approach it from a fresh angle. 💪 Fail fast, learn, and keep hustlin'! 🚀
