Hi hunters and friends, When it comes to nurturing engagement, what's more important? Posting a new article on community? or commenting/replying on existing articles? Recently, I have been active in the independent hacker community, and I began wondering what's most important to nurture organic engagement from potential customers. I'm sure there's no clear-cut answer, but which one do you think is better? What made you think that?

I think the comments are the most important and he can bring a lot of inspiration to the team.

@charles_ thanks for the insight. What exactly do you mean by inspiration? Can you share with us one of your specific experience? It would help us alot? Thanks!

@imjohnkoo I am currently sharing my product, Glarity, on Twitter, and have connected with several engineers who are willing to collaborate and help improve the project. Additionally, users on Twitter have provided valuable feedback and suggestions, such as asking if Glarity can be adapted for use on other platforms. This has been a great opportunity to engage with the community and enhance the product.
Not sure but i think commenting and replying.

@sandradjajic yes, they're easy to get started with

I'd say commenting and replying for sure. I feel like a new article grows the volume of your content but not your connection with others. You need to get into actual conversations if you want to establish engagement. Just posting is like talking to yourself.

I think you can interact with people more with comments and replying.

@dogukan_tezcan great point. actual interaction is a key to grow engagement. Thanks!

I think that at the very begginig when you register at Product Hunt it's more important to engage with the existing content (comment and reply). But later, when you've already gained connections and, well, presence on the platform, it's time to post ;)

@ksenia_khriptovich Yes, I agree. Engaging with comment is the key at the beginning. Thanks for your comment!

I think the community at the start. But, I think it's important to have a post or two in your catalogue as well incase people go back to your page to signal that you're also producing content.

@carter_barnett Yup you also need to have some original content to show people what you are creating. thanks!
