Hey fellow Product Hunters! πŸ‘‹ I'm diving into the world of video editing and I was wondering what your favorite video editing tools are! Whether you're a professional editor or just someone who enjoys creating videos as a hobby, I'd love to hear your recommendations. EDIT: I have been using DeScript, but @shamirallibhai commented below sharing Eddie AI launched today. I will give it a try!

I use https://veed.io and capcut now, it's a smooth and straightforward process. Previously, I was using Premiere and After Effects, which allowed more possibilities but was also more time-consuming.

@dfeles I used to use Adobe Premiere a lot but it was so time consuming. We built something that makes cutting stories super fast: your footage + prompt. Try Eddie at https://heyeddie.ai would love to know what you think. FYI We just launched on PH today!

I have a few favourites but now that I'm working with Vmaker.AI I should say it's Vmaker AI. If you're up for it, I'll stack you the reasons xD

DaVinci Resolve is a solid free option. Premiere Pro if you need pro features. CapCut's great for quick mobile edits.

I use different software for different type of videos. CapCut, Animoto, Canvid and Wondershare are the main ones I use. Oh and I also use Canva sometimes. :-)

I've started from Windows pre-installed software and then switched to Sony Vegas. It was enough for me for a long time when i just needed a trimmer and couple of sound equalizers. Now i know there are many different tools but video isn't the main focus for me now

I'm using iMovie and Filmora for quick and basic edits. For more complex projects I'll sometimes boot up DaVinci Resolve. Curious what AI tools people are using to speed up their editing workflows?

Will be quite conservative here, but my choice is FinalCut Pro 😎

Final Cut pro is my go to for Mac. It’s fast and the magnetic timeline is super intuitive!

Final Cut Pro was the best $300 I ever spent 12 years ago! I know thats probably a little more advanced for sometime simple but its great alternative to adobe. We also get a lot of effects from https://www.lenofx.com/ - I will agree with comments below that capcut is great for captions and effects.

I think today you have the multiple choices and these are dictated by your specific needs, technology and skills. CupCut has grown enough for the userfriendly interface and guided steps, he has web platform and offer infinite templates for animations and filters. Capcut can be considered a social-media-focused video-editing-platform so if you're looking for a more professional approach, a lot are moving from more standard editing software like finalcut and premiere pro to Davinci resolve. Recently the company integrated a lot of automations and a simplified interface for sorting and editing clips that is really changing the industry, and more important.. is Free.

I use applications from my cellphone with Capcut, Canva and VN. If I use a laptop or PC I use Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premier Pro, I like that too
