I think in our day to day lives we all have aspects we wish we could automate and in startups thats especially true, for me I think it would be the entire design side. A.I please make a solid Figma design generator

@gilad_uziely Every startup founder wishes this can be automated
@gilad_uziely This is like saying I want to eat but chewing should be automated, if that happens then where is the fun?
The Definitive Guide to Homeschooling
@gilad_uziely @chetan_natesh Finding Product/Market Fit is the most fun part. Also, if this was automated, i would definitely put all of us bootstrappers out of business fast.

@gilad_uziely Absolutely!

@chetan_natesh @manisha_snoyer1 was just kidding but if you brought it up (IMHO) growth after finding the PMF is the most fun part ;-)

Generating different landing pages to market the product and running A/B experiments to optimize the pages.

@mekkiebansil this hits home for me! We just switched to Notion, and while it's way better than what we were using prior, I'm still limping along with docs/resources all over the place π

@lyndsay_donhoff haah what were you using before? and i totally feel you! i made a notion task calendar for us and it's sooooo hard to not just leave cards on there as references of copy or whatever
ThoughtfulPost
@mekkiebansil We were using a hodge podge of tools: Asana, Google Drive, Figma/Miro, & Slack notes. We got most everything migrated into Notion, but it's been a chaotic process and I wish I had some more regimented structure if that makes sense?
DIY Startup School for Solopreneurs
@lyndsay_donhoff that totally makes sense! I don't know if it would be helpful at all but I can show you what we do?

The tasks I would like to automate are not easy ones like chasing unpaid invoices for a B2B SaaS. Requires lots of manual work and some companies have bizarre payment procedures that also change every time.
finding users and marketing
Infra for any SaaS: Login, 2 factor auth, manage users and passwords. Conclusion, all that a SaaS needs but is not the core value of it

Customer service around operations - when customers want you do something that your app isn't built to do, but you feel like you have to do it because you are early stage and you want to accommodate them (like changing a class time or processing refunds)

Tbh, product market fit.
Product feedback and testing
Of course there are tons of product around feedback but being able to automatically filter out the data should be easy.
Even same for testing.

Would be nice to Figma to Angular components! Or generate a name and buy domain, create emails

@david_sipos Name generation for sure, its hard thinking of the perfect name!

@david_sipos We will consider Figma to Angular components. We are providing Figma to HTML/SCSS and Flutter so far.
