There are so many things we can do on socials - from ads to livestreams. Would like to know what experiments and strategies really worked for folks using socials for growth.

I haven't yet had much success myself with generating users by social, but I have a hunch that it often relies on having a popular thought leadership style account. Apart from companies, like Gong, it seems that the only ones who would be able to sell software using their social profile would be people like Justin Welsh, for example.

@benjaminboman So true; folks are building personal brands at large for this. And many even are saying that personal brands are better than brand ones. I think it's tricky more than difficult to replicate successes like that of Gong.

Depends on the media as well. Sounds very generic but: (1) consistency is key (so have a channel focus, you cannot do everything at the same time; (2) create engaging content (without that you won't get any reach.

@matthias_strafinger Agree with both of these. I think, in some cases, engagement + consistency beats even unique, quality content.

@matthias_strafinger Which media are you finding most effective for converting users?

@benjaminboman There is no clear answer but heavily depends on where your users are...Agency business: Twitter can be a very good overall B2B --> LinkedIn eCom --> IG, TikTok BUT there are people achieving great results on IG with business content and eCom companies through LinkedIn (less often the case though)

@matthias_strafinger understood. I was just looking for some more examples, maybe you had some interesting ones from things you are trying right now. I'd love to compare notes!

@benjaminboman --> Instagram: Don't use just Canva...those days are over, you won't get too much engagement. So reach will diminish. Don't sell your product, sell a lifestyle. For example, I have a sustainable summerwear brand. We try not to sell our clothes, but show videos and images of certain trips (where we wear our clothes). That works pretty well (Meta stats tell us that we have 3x the normal engagement for our business size).

I've been growing an audience of nearly 1k on Twitter so far beginning from January. My Twitter strategy: - 3-4 Tweets per day - 50-100 comments on other accounts in the same niche - regular giveaways from 300 followers on based on the new products I launch If you have any further questions, just ask me in my DMs on Twitter😄

@felix_digistash do you find that the particular types of Twitter posts do better for getting symptoms for your product versus others?
