What do you think about Results Only Work Environment? Is there a similar strategy in your company?

In ROWE (Results Only Work Environment), employees are evaluated solely on the results they produce and are given complete freedom and flexibility in how they choose to achieve those results. This means that employees are not tied to specific hours or locations and can work from anywhere, at any time, as long as they deliver their required results.
What do you think about ROWE, and do you apply to your company?

A portion of our team works in this modal since they work from home. And it's working well. But we didn't roll out this culture company-wide yet. But AFAIK Netflix has a similar culture, "No Rules, Rules".

I don't think companies with that environment can last long. Result-driven is a good thing for sure but only focusing on results will make people lose a long-term goal and avoid the new opportunity to grow the business.
@anastasia_chow I agree that focusing long term goals is also important, but long term goals can be part of this environment rather than a seperate approach. They can complete eachother.
