The first thing is understanding the specific problem to solve. If the tool doesn't align with the need, the rest doesn't matter.

Customer support is a big deal. When issues arise, having a responsive team can make or break the experience.
Cost is always a factor, but its more about vallue. A pricier tool that delivers consistently is better than a cheap one that doesn't.
I'd add scalaility to the list. Some tools work well initially but can't handle growing demands.
