    I was promoting one of the products I built over dev slack channels. Over 250 new visitors within a single day with 20 sign ups. I literally spent 3 hours of posting some content there. It works very well

    1. Talk to 500 people. Not customers! Not through forms or livestreams. Sit down and talk to 500 people about what you're doing. 2. Have a SOCIAL MEDIA experience where they can support you. NOT a BUSINESS page - something loosely related. As in, if I had a Facebook group for MediaTech, as we build what we're thinking, would you join? 3. Send them that. 4. Now, the secret trick to *more* social media growth? INVITE and TAG. Not email invite. Literally, click the INVITE in Facebook or LinkedIn and then invite all your friends/followers. Have your Team do the same. -- Social media does not actually grow well organically when you're getting started. You don't have enough reach for most of your content to get enough likes/comments so that it's seen by enough other people. So what do you? You INVITE people, manually, from your own personal network. Dirty secret? Same thing is true of event listings on social media. If you put an Event up on LinkedIn or Facebook, almost no one will know or see it; you'll end up with a dozen attendees. The trick? You have to manually invite (there is a function for it), everyone you know.     @devaonbreaches understanding the psychology of entrepreneurs after years of working with startups. Most people will talk to 10 or so, naturally Most of those are friends or familiar, so their input is rather irrelevant. If you talk to "customers," as most advise, you're probably wrong, and even if you're not wrong (about who those customers are), at best you'll now get to a few dozen - before you feel confident. That's called confirmation bias, and it's what leads to most founders failing. For years, in incubators, we'd advise instead to talk to "hundreds." Inevitably, hundreds would still cause founders to feel comfortable (erroneously) at around 50 or so of the wrong people. Hundreds doesn't SEEM like a lot so when founders get repetitive input, they'll tap out when they feel good. So why 500? Because it's "A LOT" "You talked to 100? Oh good for you, you're not even close yet." And because 500 is MORE than 99% of the world has in their friend network, it's more than most people can reach in terms of "customers," and so it forces people to accomplish what the the point is trying to get across: YOU HAVEN'T SPOKEN TO ENOUGH and YOU NEED TO GO OUTSIDE YOUR CIRCLES TO FIND MORE

    @fajarsiddiq sending newsletters is not for growth, it's for retention. I hope we do not talk about spamming, but about a white normal email marketing ;)

    There are plenty of growth tactics that have proven to work over the years. I’ll share some of my personal favorites: Focus on content marketing: Content marketing is arguably the best way of growing your business organically. In recent years it has gained tremendous popularity as more and more entrepreneurs transition towards online business. Creating high-quality content and pairing it with good marketing campaigns will do the trick for you. Have a social media presence: Your content marketing can easily be operated or propagated through social media networks. Plus, it also proves to be essential for expanding your reach and gaining a larger audience. The payoffs of having social media are enormous, and you can capitalize on the opportunities by actively engaging with your audience on it. Know what your customer wants: You cannot continue growing and expanding without knowing what your customers want. You can easily do this by circulating online surveys using different channels. Online survey tools like @qualaroo can help collect customer insights. You can over 6+ online channels like social media, websites, app prototypes, and more. Establish partnerships: Partnerships are a great way to tackle business challenges with another experienced business venture. It takes the burden off and you can use them to take advantage of an already established customer base and increase your reach and overall growth. Use email marketing: Email marketing is not new, but if done correctly, it can yield promising results at almost negligible cost. Customize emails for both present and prospective customers targeted to their micro-niche to have higher chances of converting them.     You're absolutely right; founders always find a creative way, and most of the time, those ways are not documented. I was fortunate enough to learn a few tactics from some of the great minds in their respective industries. I'll try to share them with you: Talk to a lot of people- I feel this is probably one of the most underrated tactics of our era. Talking to people wherever you are or wherever you go will help you look at things from a wider perspective and paint a bigger picture. People carry a lot of experience with them, and the best way to use that is by talking to them and understanding their principles and how they deal with real-life situations. Form partnerships- Collaborating with people with similar interests and goals is also very beneficial. You will share your risks and stand a better chance of surviving in the market with your collective thinking and operating powers. Get on social media- You need to be on social media, and your brand should always have a social media presence simply because your target audience is here. When you come in the vicinity of billions of people, the odds of them seeing you jump really high. Therefore, social media is one of those opportunities that you should not miss by any means because the possibilities here are endless. Send them emails- Another very important tactic is to gather emails from every potential customer and remind them of your existence. Mining emails today is extremely easy, and there are just too many upsides to sending emails to not do it. In fact, you can even automate this process. There are plenty of tools in the market like @qualaroo that can help you with the same. All of these tactics are some of my personal picks that I like to deploy on a regular basis. All you have to do is start by making small changes and work towards a bigger goal.     My favorite growth tip is really doubling down on organic content through lesser used social channels. I've found great success just posting organically on Reddit, Quora and even Tiktok!
