I surveyed people across LinkedIn and slack communities on how we evaluate SaaS solutions and/or get product demos. Here are the results. Do you agree? Do you think this changes anything? Results: Poke around unassisted: 46.5% Sales-led demo: 16.3% Walk-thru video: 18.6% Self-guided demo: 18.6% n=43 Including the link for the graphic: https://www.linkedin.com/posts/be-savee_salesops-salesprocess-activity-7010660212885913600-Cgq3/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=member_desktop

Looks kinda right. my experience (B2B) is that people ask for demos when they are interested and almost looking to buy. Till then, they say "gimme a login, let me look around" Having a guided tour at that stage could help. So, my actual vote would be for "Poke around unassisted, with guided tour / on boarding"
