Is Product Hunt a great place to launch for DevTools?

We've just launched Rig.dev (not on Product Hunt, but on Github and with a website) and are looking for more beta users.
It's an open-source application platform for Kubernetes, and I'm a bit in doubt whether it would be the right use of energy to prepare for a launch on Product Hunt. Any thoughts and/or experiences about the ROI of spending time doing a launch with a "heavier" DevTool?
btw, the team and I would love any support in here: https://github.com/rigdev/rig

@fmerian thanks a lot for always being active in the community and providing value!
At this stage our #1 Objective for the launch will be new installations (people trying it out).
I'll dive deeper into the launch execution from GitGuardian, Langfuse and Qovery - thanks a lot! ππΌ

The website is amazing, Thor! I'll try using the tool.
I think launching on Product Hunt can certainly be a valuable strategy, but it may vary depending on the nature of your product.
In terms of ROI, I think Product Hunt can provide valuable exposure to a tech-savvy audience and potentially attract beta users who are passionate about exploring new tools. However, it's important to consider whether the effort required to prepare for a launch is aligned with your overall marketing strategy and resources.
