Is PH a good place for enterprise products?

Question

Ours is a product that needs consultative selling because it is quite complex and requires custom deployment. I see that PH launches are mostly tools where users can go and directly use it. Is it so?

Hey Suman. It depends what segment of enterprise you're talking about here. And it also depends on a product's activation journey.

But I agree with @hashnimo. Launch it anyway, there's nothing to lose. But you'll get some great eyeballs and feedback for sure.

Hey Suman, great question! While PH is generally known for launching more consumer-facing products and tools, there are definitely enterprise products that have been successfully launched here as well. I think the key is to really understand your target audience and how to effectively communicate the value proposition of your product to them. Good luck with your launch!

In that case PH might not be a good place for you. In PH if your product is enterprise, complex, costly most people here might not even take a look at your site much less upvote it. Although you might get some visibility but it'll not be worth your time. I'd suggest reaching out to companies and company employees that might find value in your product.
Most of the products here have a one line description so that people can understand. I'm not really sure but focusing on  SEO and a bit of professional Social media like Twitter or LinkedIn might make more sense that product hunt in Enterprise cases.

Just my opinion I'm not at all sure of my above comments LOL

PH is a platform by tech enthusiasts and for tech enthusiasts. The enterprise are a different target. On PH, if the people can't touch your product, how they can grade it? BTW, it's a platform for everyone, and everyone can launch his product here! But as you know, for a successful launch on Product Hunt you need to work hard, and in this case (for enterprise product), i think you can spend your energy more efficiently!

@suman_saurabh2 the problem with people is that they try to justify everything once they like something.
the same thing happens to languages, tools and products alike. like how people use JS for everything and how people are not able to leave Twitter (for now atleast).
 just look at it objectively and you'll find your answer.
