Is Gallery not important as before with the new UI?

Hey Community! Been a while since I've been very active on Product Hunt. As a product designer, I noticed the significant UI change on the product launching page! The Gallery is significantly reduced in size. I couldn't read some text on the preview, and ended up clicking on the picture to zoom in. Does that change the way you design the gallery visual? Do you all like the new UI or missing the big gallery?

Hey Lee! I'm still getting used to the redesign. I'm not the biggest fan so far, but I think that's just because it's new. I'll probably love it soon :D The gallery does seem a bit smaller, but when I can't read the text, that usually means for me that the makers put too much text on their creatives anyways 🙈

@sarahxjo Thanks for your input! Yes I agree. I guess the old design is just too memorable so it takes time to adapt!
