Clipara
Surely the answer is obvious... use Clipara to add some epic social proof videos. And do it in a slick way that doesn't require people to press 5 different things to switch from one video to the next, get bored and leave your site.
Spoiler alert, we launched on Product Hunt today.

Oh by the way, I just went on the commented.io website and that demo in the landing page is absolute flames 🔥
Do not make the same identical corporate website as there are a million on the Internet. Tell and show the truth.
Customer testimonials, user reviews, case studies are one way to go! Also, we linked our FAQs page at the bottom for the ones who are more curious about the product and whether it fits their needs and wants.

One way for this is to include customer testimonials and reviews.

One way to build trust is by including social proof, such as customer testimonials or reviews, on your landing page. This helps potential customers see that others have had a positive experience with your product or service.

Clear & easy to read messaging along with a simple, modern look. I think the best landing pages allow the product to clearly say what it is without having to read too much into it.
Thinksy
@tatiana_tompkins How would you recommend keeping a simple modern look when your product is text based? For example, Thinksy is a Slack app, so our product is text heavy and it's hard to show off our product without cluttering the page

Agree with @mary_rumyantzeva completely! Would add that showcasing product, like in demo video or screenshots, is helpful to build trust

I think it depends on the product's stage. We launched just several days ago. Before the launch, we decided to use the landing page only to introduce our idea and exclude additional sections like FAQs or case studies.
We thought that trying to imitate the sites of established companies would make it seem like we were trying to pretend something we hadn't reached yet. Therefore, in our case, sharing less information was our strategy for building trust, as we were very open and honest about our current stage of development.
However, right from the beginning, we decided to pay attention to legal matters such as cookies, privacy policy, and terms of use. This was also part of our commitment to be as clear and honest with our users as possible.
Now, we have received more feedback, more cases, and more questions from users, which is why we want to add a cases section and FAQ section. The more we will develop our product, the more information we will have to showcase via our landing page.
Unstuck
@mary_rumyantzeva I love this answer and totally agree. I think people have a pretty good instinct for spotting phony content, so it's better to be truthful in what you present. We followed a similar approach as you in gradually adding specific content when it was relevant instead of forcing it.
Plus, I would add that, depending on the specific product space, it can build trust and help set expectations to include an about, if you're a small team working without funding.

ah, the art of trust-building. it's the unspoken currency in a world of endless landing pages.
first impressions? they're digital now. your landing page is the front door to your value proposition.
clear messaging. don't make 'em think. if they're confused, you've lost them. clarity over cleverness, always.
visuals matter. aesthetics aren't shallow; they're a signal of your attention to detail, your commitment to quality.
show social proof. testimonials, case studies, logos of companies you've worked with. borrowed trust can be just as powerful.
make it human. people trust people, not faceless brands. show the team, share your mission.
transparency rules. got a pricing page? lay it all out. nobody likes to be nickel and dimed.
FAQs? answer them upfront. objections exist; it's your job to preemptively tackle them.
CTA: make it compelling but not pushy. 'get started' feels different than 'buy now,' even if the action is the same.
guarantees can be game-changers. whether it's a 30-day money-back promise or lifetime support. it reduces risk.
finally, make sure it's fast and mobile-optimized. lag and bad design can erode trust before you've even had a chance to build it.
and, trust isn't built in a day, but it can be lost in a moment. every pixel, every word counts.

@websitestoolz Thanks Anand, I definitely will
Ok, interesting question, what makes you trust a landing page?
Good question
The styling of the page itself can make a surprising amount of difference! Certain fonts, colours, UI approaches make a big swing. Obviously there are trade-offs there so A/B test if it's feasible
To build trust on landing pages, use clear and concise messaging, display trust signals like customer reviews and security badges, and ensure a clean and professional design that aligns with your brand's credibility.
