Hi, my name is Maria Hagsten Michelsen. I often joke that I've already lived many lives in one. I was a Danish grad student enthralled by the Renaissance. I became an accomplished ebook creator, managing the production of thousands of titles while exploring the limits of the new media. I moved to San Francisco and pivoted my career to become a Product Designer in tech, striving to solve complex problems with delightful and intuitive solutions. And now, after more than a decade of working for others, I felt the urge to build my own. So today, I'm the proud maker of Unstuck, a CBT journaling app that helps people overcome anxiety and depression. It is a project fueled by my own experience and my passion for helping others like me who are battling mental health issues.
